School Programmes
OnBoard Skate’s in-school skateboarding programme can help students to become more physically active. Unlike traditional sports that tend to focus on the best athletes (and marginalise the rest) in the pursuit of winning, skateboarding focuses on personal progress and lifelong learning by providing engaging, action centred, enjoyable and non-judgemental activities driven by a “challenge by choice” learning philosophy. Best of all, we come to you with all the equipment needed to ensure your students have a safe and enjoyable learning experience.
Girls and Women’s Only Programmes
Are you looking for a new challenge or adventure? Then come and join us on one of our female friendly skateboard and/or longboard programmes. Here you can meet and share your enthusiasm with a like-minded group of women who are looking for a new way to have fun and excitement. Don’t worry if you have never ridden a skateboard or longboard before. Our friendly and experienced crew of female skate instructors will work alongside you to get you up and riding in no time, so you can experience the thrill and exhilaration of skateboarding.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a skateboard. We will provide free hire of all skateboards, longboards, helmets and safety equipment at each session.

After School Programmes
See how easily you can learn to skateboard with our "SkateSafe" learn to skateboard sessions. Our proven 5 step programme is guaranteed to get you up and riding independently in as short a time as possible. If you have already mastered the fundamental skills of riding, then our experienced instructors can help take your riding to the next level. They will work with you to design an individualised riding programme to help you master the tricks you want to learn.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a skateboard. We will provide free hire of all skateboards, longboards, helmets and safety equipment at each session.
Birthday Parties
Let our instructors come to you and host a skateboard party your child will remember. We bring all the equipment (skateboards, helmets, safety pads and portable ramps) you need to make your child’s party memorable.
Cost for a 2-hour session is $250. We can run your party at any venue where there is flat smooth concrete. Often your local school will allow us to host your child's party if you get their permission. However if you are struggling to find a suitable venue please contact us, we have access to a number of school and community venues that we use to run our programmes, and we may be able to assist you in finding a suitable venue close to you.
Private Lessons
Get riding quickly with a lesson from one of our experienced skateboard instructors. If you have never ridden a skateboard before or are wanting to improve your existing skills or are looking for specialist advice on street or bowl skating, then a one-to-one skate session is just the thing. Our instructors will come to a venue near you and work alongside you to help you to reach your goals.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a skateboard or safety equipment because we will supply everything you need for the session(s).
Cost for a 1-hour session is $50.
School Holiday Programmes
No skateboard riding experience? No problem. Our “challenge by choice” learning curriculum makes it easier than ever to master the fundamental skills of riding in no time, regardless of your skill level. Start with the 5 basic steps of riding (staring position, pushing, riding, stopping & turning) and work your way up to mastering a range of beginner and intermediate level ramps. From there you can tackle our advanced obstacles and learn more about street skating skills and tricks.
No equipment? We provide all skateboards, helmets, safety pads and portable ramps and rails.
